BMW New Vehicle Warranty Every new BMW purchased from BMW of North America, or sold through the BMW of North America European Delivery program, includes a limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship for four years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. The warranty period begins either on the date of first retail sale, or the date the vehicle is placed in service as a demonstrator or company vehicle, whichever is earlier. And from that moment on, that BMW is covered for four years or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, regardless if it’s with its first owner or a subsequent owner. BMW Rust protection.
